A new BONFOR Funding Instrument for Technology Development in Core Facilities

The BONFOR Funding Instrument 9 (Technology Development in Core Facilities) is meant to ensure that the Core Facilities of the Medical Faculty can map state-of-the-art and innovative, novel methods. The innovations that are established within the framework of this project-related scientific work are then to be incorporated into the routine work of the Core Facility.

Core Facilities (represented by their managers and scientific directors) as well as university professors and working group leaders together with one or more Core Facilities are eligible to apply for a one-time E13/100% position temporary for 2 years and a maximum of 12,000 EUR for supplies per year.
A proposal must be submitted jointly by at least two Core Facilities or at least one Core Facility and one Research Group. Applications are submitted every two years at the March BONFOR meeting.

More information is available on the official Website of Instrument 9.
