On the injection, the investigator must supply harvested ES cells in mice. The CFT harvest blastocysts or morulae from mice, and inject 10-15 ES cells in case of blastocysts and 5-7 ES cells in case of morulae into each viable blastocyst or morula, respectively. Injected blastocysts/morulae are then implanted into pseudopregnant females. The CFT guarantees that at least 500 blastocysts/morulae will be successfully injected and transferred into foster mice, or the generation of one chimeric male pup – whichever comes first.
