TeRAbytes-Workshop: Strategies for Data Science and Data Management

We are happy to invite you to the first TeRAbytes-Workshop: Strategies for Data Science and Data Management which will take place on 17. /18. January 2023 at the Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn (Ahrstr. 45, 53175 Bonn).

This workshop will bring together researchers from across the Transdisciplinary Research Areas (TRAs) who produce and deal with large and complex data sets and generate digital research products. We wish to stimulate an exchange of ideas and com mon challenges.

Who? The workshop is open to researchers and staff of Bonn University and affiliated institutions. We also encourage Ph.D. students to participate.

The workshop has three goals:

• Get an overview of the ongoing activities
• Identify common strengths, challenges, and development directions
• Provide feedback to the university on future requirements for an excellent digital infrastructure

The results of this workshop will be recorded in a whitepaper intended as input for the digital strategy of the university.

Poster: We encourage all participants to bring a poster about challenges and solutions to research data management and data science in their particular field of science.
